The Hockey.bz: Stats & Records app for Android and iOS (bz.hockey.stats) does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other information that identifies you. Choices such as your selected league, time frame, and season are saved only on your device and are never transmitted to us or to any third party. Removing the app deletes them.
The app shows banner ads provided by Google AdMob (publisher ID pub-7847952311476026). To serve and measure these ads and to prevent fraud, Google collects device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, how you interact with the app and its ads, and diagnostic information such as crash logs, in accordance with its own privacy policies. On Android this includes your advertising ID. On iOS the app does not ask for permission to track you, so Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared. You can read how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where the law requires it (for example, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the app shows a Google consent message when it starts and asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown. If you are in a region where this message applies, an "Ad privacy options" entry appears under Privacy in the app's Settings, where you can review or change your choice at any time. In other regions the app does not show a consent message or this entry.
To fetch statistics, the app connects to api.yellowjacket.bz, a service run by Yellowjacket Software on Amazon Web Services (AWS). When you share a stat card, the app loads a page from our website to draw the card. The app downloads updates from Expo, the service it is built with. Like any internet service, these services and Google (for ads) receive your device's IP address and process it to deliver the request. We do not use the IP address to identify you, and it may be kept in standard server logs for a limited time for security and operations.
The app is not directed at children under 13.
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device's settings.
Please email us if you have any questions about the app and your privacy.
We may update our Privacy policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. Such changes come into effect as soon as they are posted on this page.
